It was great and most exciting day for the team of Faro Luna Diving Center and entire team of scubacuba.ca
Early morning we got the news that decommissioned fishing vessel CA-97 is ready for it’s final voyage to be sunk in one of our divesites to create artificial reef. By 12:30 pm we were ready to start sinking the ship. The shipwreck will be equipped with scientific instruments to provide data for scientific community. For it’s role in the future collecting of data to learn about and preserve the oceans we called it Ocean Defender .
